Stonybrook believes that as a staff we are called to be in partnership with parents, volunteers and students to build a Christian community where students and families are growing with Christ together.

Come check out SBY and see how you can impact students and families now.

Immediate Volunteer Needs:

Meal Servants

On an average Sunday evening 40-45 youth and adult servants will eat dinner from 6:00-6:30. Servants are needed to provide and prepare a meal of your choosing, serve the meal in Wesley Hall, and clean up afterward. Ideally the meal would consist of a main course, a veggie/fruit/salad, and a dessert but this is not a requirement. Meals can be prepared at home or at the church (we just need to ensure the kitchen is left in the condition it was found).

Servants are now needed most Sundays from Jan - May. If you are interested in serving, please contact Stephanie Rode at 614.668.8532 or stephaniearode@gmail.com for more information or to find a Sunday available. If you are not able to prepare a meal, please prayerfully consider a donation of drinks, plates, napkins, or plastic utensils marked SBY Youth and placed in the kitchen.

Other Volunteer Opportunities:

Prayer Team

Each week the students take time fill out prayer cards, and throughout the evening a team of servants pray over them. They are also prayed over throughout the week by other staff members. This part of the evening is very important to the students and we as a staff believe that there is incredible power in prayer.
