The service is open to the entire community and the speaker will be Pastor Lou. She will share her family’s story of healing related to her father’s history of chronic depression and attempted suicide. Pastor Lou and Pastor Nikki will lead in the healing prayers and preside for the Sacrament of Holy Communion with assistance from the Stonybrook Healing Ministry team. Plan to come to the service to have the community pray for your special needs and to offer prayers of intercession for friends and family. We know that God works in mysterious and powerful ways when the people of God gather in prayer. Healing can begin, restoration can happen, new insights come and God’s people will celebrate the presence of a living God. A free-will offering will be taken for National Suicide Prevention Week, which is September 10-16.
