- Community improvement projects in conjunction withGahanna Parks and Rec, GRIN, Gahanna Historical Society, and Gahanna Jefferson City Schools.
- Home projects for our local neighbors in need
- Packaged 18,160 meals in conjunction with Lifeline Christian Mission that will be shipped to Haiti and around the world where starvation and malnutrition are rampant.
GRIN (Gahanna residents in need)
GRIN is a community wide, faith based organization committed to helping the residents of the Gahanna-Jefferson school district in a time of need. We support financially, by serving, and clothing and food donations. Donations can be dropped off at 760 Morrison Road, Gahanna Suites A and B. NNEMap Food Pantry
Stonybrook is a sponsor of one of the largest food pantries in Franklin County, NNEMAP provides over 29,000 people with a 3-day supply of food twice a month. Help support our commitment to this worthy cause through your donations of funds and food products. Check their website for a list of current needs and upcoming events.
FREE COMMUNITY LUNCH
This is a partnership with Peace Lutheran Church to provide a meal each Sunday for those who desire it. Our Sunday is the 4th Sunday of each month. We provide the food, prepare it, and serve it at Peace. To sign up to serve or for questions email firstname.lastname@example.org.
HISPANIC AND LATINO MINISTRY
Located just south of Gahanna on Steltzer Road, this is a ministry of the United Methodist Church that serves members of Gahanna's Hispanic and Latino communities. Opportunities are available to support the many activities there, in areas such as tutoring; Bible Study; ESL classes; school supplies; Christmas gifts; and medical clinic support. GAHANNA SUMMER LUNCH PROGRAM
This is a citywide cooperative project that provides lunch for students and their families during the summer. We commit to one week each summer. Servants are needed to prepare food at the church and deliver to the lunch location; on-site helpers are needed to serve food to the students. Contact: Craig Belair at firstname.lastname@example.org
Volunteer to work with the same student each week during the student's lunch hour. Materials are provided by the school. The emphasis is on building a relationship with the student as well as helping them with school work. Contact: Nonie Dachenbach at email@example.com
