The Hospitality ministry at Stonybrook UMC exists to make all who come to us feel they are loved and welcome. Our goal is show God’s love in such a way each person will be drawn to Him.
As people enter our building, greeters meet and welcome them to each of our services.
As people enter our sanctuary ushers provide bulletins, greet people, and assist as needed. During worship ushers assist with the offering, communion and aid in any way indicated.
Welcome Center Aid
At times questions needed to be answered about location, children and youth activities, outreach opportunities and any number of areas. Persons who work at the Welcome Center are there to help make it easy to feel comfortable at Stonybrook.
Ebenezer’s is a busy place on Sunday morning. A bonus to getting a cup of coffee or tea is time to greet each other. Servants are needed to set up and serve each Sunday. The Church provides everything.
Stonybrook feels it is important to let visitors know we are glad they have come. Servants are needed to connect to visitors, introduce themselves, learn a little bit about them, and give them a Mug gift with Stonybrook information and candy inside. The Church provides all Mug gift items.
