Children

Welcome to SBK...Stonybrook Kids, the children's ministry of Stonybrook United Methodist Church. We love your children, and so do the volunteers who provide a safe and loving learning environment for them. We want to partner with families to reach and teach children in such a way that they have the greatest opportunity to become fully developing followers of Christ. Gifts for Gabriel

Gabriel Taylor is 4 yrs old and recently diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, bone cancer, in several places in his body. He is under-going chemotherapy. Please lift him and his family (Jeremy, Rhonda and sister Sarah) up in prayer for healing and comfort in this tough time.

There will be boxes (“Gifts for Gabriel”)in the Narthex where you may drop off gift cards to help the family. We will also have a box for Sarah (“Smiles for Sarah”). She is 2yrs. old and gets lonely when mom, dad and Gabriel are at the hospital. Below are some suggestion for gifts:

Grocery cards, gas cards, Children’s Hospital cards/parking tokens, Visa cash card (you may designate this for a cleaning service that his preschool has arranged, if you like), Restaurant cards, Glow Putt, Build-A-Bear, Gahanna Lanes, Magic Mountain. Be creative!

We have set up a website, www.carecalendar.org , that you can visit and sign up to help with family meals and other services.  The log-on code is 36436 and the password is 8452. If you visit www.caringbridge.org  and type in “Gabriel Taylor” you can sign a guestbook. His parents will be getting updates on there as well.

Thank You for helping the family of God surround this family in love, prayers and support!

Project Safeguard

The safety of your children is our highest priority! Children participating in any SBK program will need to be registered, signed in and wearing their SBK name tag that we will provide. For your convenience, you may register your child in one of three locations: 1) at the SBK kiosk just inside the Stonybrook main entrance, 2) at the lower level Stonybrook entrance, or 3) by filling out the Registration Form to the right.

UPCOMING EVENTS

 ATTENTION:

Beginning June 6th, our SBK Worship schedule will change, just for the summer.  At 9:30am, children will begin in the service and be dismissed to Wesley Hall, following the Pastoral Prayer.  All ages together (3ys-5th grade) will enjoy a large group lesson, drama, music and fun!  We will return to our divided ages, large group/small group model in the Fall.
